But, there is an exception. Elias is a very powerful mage. Throughout the series, he has transformed into his different human forms whenever he is out in public.
When Chise and their friends went to the black market to save one of her dragon friends, Elias took the form of still an unknown handsome man. But, what Chise might have not expected is for Elias to get out of the water so quickly and hug her tightly in his Chise-like form. Elias’ human form made this scene even more romantic because the two were basically at the same height and he was able to hug her just right. It may have been only for a few seconds. But, it sure stuck in the minds of most ancient magus fans.

Chise confessed how well things turned out for her since meeting Elias while he promised to make sure that he will never do something she will dislike again. Technically, it wasn’t a literal wedding with all the fancy things and a priest. But, still, it was enough to justify that they both plan to stay with each other as long as they can. With Chise’s white dress, their rings, and promises shared. The mock wedding was a beautiful way to end the series because as they say all is well that ends well.
