Do you dream of being a cute maid too? CY games and P.A. Works just revealed the release date of the long-awaited maid anime, Akiba Maid War. Set to premiere on the 6th of October, this series is definitely one for the books!
If you’re looking for a new maid anime to anticipate, Akiba Maid War may just be the one for you. During the announcement of their premiere, Cygames and P.A. work also released the long-anticipated trailer and visual for the new anime series.
The new trailer/visual teaser fashioned an eerie, yet cheerful maid cafe vibe. With the series having no official details or backstory, fans are highly anticipating what comes next. Many speculate that the anime revolves around the toxic, sad, and tragic history of maid cafes.

The trailer begins by introducing the maids: Yumechi and Shippon. Yumechi is the best or ace made, and Shippon is the cool, edgy, gyaru maid. The trailer then introduces the cafe owner, whose name hasn’t been revealed yet, and it closes to two other characters in the series.
Along with the announcement of the premiere and the release of the teaser visual/trailer, Cygames and P.A. works have also revealed a new set of casts for the series. Some of the star-studded Voice Actors include:
- Minami Tanaka (Voice of Mary Saotome from Kakegurui) as Yumechi
- Tomoyo Kurosawa (Voice of Kei from Kotaro Lives Alone) as Shippon
- Ayahi Takagaki ( Voice of Maiah from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures) as the Owner.
Akiba Maid War is directed by Souichi Masui, the director of Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, composed by Yoshihiro Hiki, and designed by Manabu Nii. Other staff and crew include producers and directors from different renowned studios and animes.
Fans can definitely expect a great production for the series. More details about the series should be revealed soon.
