On Thursday, Square Enix and TBS both revealed that Iro Aida’s After-School Hanako-kun (Houkago Shounen Hanako-kun) spinoff manga is spawning a short television animation that will air on TBS on October 12. Crunchyroll has confirmed that the anime will be streamed on the same day, but at 2:00 p.m. ET will air across North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, and India ahead of the Japanese debut. My Home Hero, a manga by Naoki Yamakawa and Masashi Asaki, has inspired a live-action television series and film. On October 24, the series will begin on MBS and TBS’ Dramaism block, while the film will be released in Japan in spring 2024.
