During the “MyGo!!!!! 4th Live” concert, it was announced that the BanG Dream! project will debut a new anime series titled BanG Dream! It’s MyGo!!!!! this summer.

The anime will star the MyGo!!!!! band members:
- Hina Yomiya as Tomori Takamatsu
- Rin Tateishi as Anon Chihaya
- Hina Aoki as Rāna Kaname
- Mika Kohinata as Soyo Nagasaki
- Koko Hayashi as Taki Shina
Koudai Kakimoto, known for directing Cyborg 009 Call of Justice and Katana Maidens: Toji no Miko, is returning to direct the new anime for the BanG Dream! franchise at SANZIGEN. Yuniko Ayana is supervising and writing the series scripts, with the opening theme song titled “Hitoshizuku.”
The cast and staff will make an appearance at the anime’s formal project unveiling event on May 24. Furthermore, the in-person band’s fifth live concert is scheduled to take place at the KT Zepp Yokohama venue on August 12.
The BanG Dream! multimedia project was launched by Bushiroad in January 2015. The main BanG Dream! television anime premiered its first 13-episode season in January 2017, with Anime Network Online and Crunchyroll streaming the first season simultaneously as it aired in Japan. The second season of the anime debuted in January 2019, licensed by Sentai Filmworks, and streamed by HIDIVE and Crunchyroll.
The franchise’s 3rd Season television anime premiered in January 2020, licensed by Sentai Filmworks, and streamed by HIDIVE and VRV. The BanG Dream! Poppin’ Dream! anime film continued the story from the third season and opened in Japan in January 2022. The franchise also includes the BanG Dream! FILM LIVE and BanG Dream! FILM LIVE 2nd Stage films, the two-part BanG Dream! Episode of Roselia films, as well as several web anime spinoff series.
