The third and final season of Beastars’ anime is presently in the works, and the original creator behind it all has offered a new update on how that development is progressing!
Paru Itagaki’s original manga series was adapted into a highly popular anime series by Studio Orange, and the first two seasons were so successful that the anime was renewed for a third season. Unfortunately for many fans, Beastars Season 3 was also announced to be the series’ final slate of episodes. We’ve finally acquired a new update, which is now slated for delivery sometime next year.
Beastars Final Season is expected to be released in 2024, but no specific release date has been announced. However, series creator Paru Itagaki revealed in a recent update with fans on social media that they attended a production meeting and were so excited by what they saw that they had to sketch Louis and Legoshi to celebrate, he states:
“I went to a BEASTARS anime meeting the other day and was so excited that I wanted to draw together for the first time in a long time! I can’t say much about it yet, but I look forward to the final season! Stay tuned for more news!”
Shinichi Matsumi and Nanami Higuchi will return from the first two seasons of Beastars as director and playwright for Studio Orange, respectively. With the original Beastars manga having ended its run some time ago, the anime will most likely focus on the last moments of the manga before it all comes to an end when it is ultimately released. If you want to see the anime for yourself, the first two seasons of Beastars are now available on Netflix.
We know many fans have been anticipating the release of the final season of Beastars, and we are too! Will you be re-watching some of the most iconic episodes of the show? Share your thoughts with us!
