The latest chapter of the Black Clover manga has set up an intense final battle for the fate of the Clover Kingdom. Mereoleona Vermillion’s final attack is teased in a major cliffhanger, as the series works towards its conclusion. The ongoing Judgment Day war has showcased the difficulties faced by the Magic Knights against Lucius Zogratis’ angel army. The Captains have also struggled against this formidable opponent. Unfortunately, this war has resulted in numerous injuries to the Magic Knights and the death of a major Magic Knight Captain in the previous chapter.
The newest chapter ends on an explosive cliffhanger, with Mereoleona preparing for a final attack against Paladin Moris. She must burn her body to gain more power, and there’s a chance that this bold move could cost her life. As Black Clover moves towards its final arc, the tension and stakes continue to rise.
Will Black Clover Kill Off Mereoleona?
Black Clover Chapter 358 showcases the intense battle between Mereoleona and Moris. Mereoleona’s Hellfire Incarnate form is the only way for her to keep up with Moris’ immense power. Unfortunately, Moris’ Paladin ability allows him to break down anything he touches, even the Mana Zone spread throughout the kingdom to aid the knights. As a result, Mereoleona’s body breaks down every time she strikes him, despite her incredible attacking abilities.
In an effort to help Mereoleona, her squad members sacrifice themselves by absorbing Moris’ attacks to give her more time to fight. The hope is that her flames will burn through Moris faster than he can regenerate. As she fights on, her flames burn hotter and culminate in a final attack, the Calidos Brachium Purgatory: Flame Burial, coating her in the hottest flame yet.
