Bleach Creator Teases Fans With New Ichigo Artwork Ahead of Part 2 Release

By Harold DatuinMarch 1, 2023

Bleach fans, get ready to wield your Zanpakuto once again! After years of waiting, the anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s Bleach manga series returned last year with a proper adaptation of the final arc, and it left fans wanting more. Fortunately, the wait won’t be much longer, as Part 2 is slated to air in July 2023 as part of the Summer anime schedule.

To keep the hype fires burning bright, series creator Tite Kubo recently shared a cool new sketch of Ichigo Kurosaki, the series’ protagonist, before he heads into his biggest slate of battles yet.

The sketch appears to show Ichigo in his prior form, as he doesn’t show off his dual Zanpakuto (or lack of Zanpakuto as he becomes the blade). Fans are excited to see Ichigo in action again, and the sketch has only added to the anticipation for the new episodes. Check it out below:

Preparing for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2

Fans of the Bleach anime series are eagerly anticipating the release of Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2, scheduled to air sometime in July 2023 as part of the Summer anime schedule. While no specific release date or episode count has been announced yet, it’s been confirmed that the new season will have a four cour run overall.

To fully enjoy the new episodes, it’s important to catch up on the events of Part 1, which can currently be streamed on Hulu in the US and Disney+ internationally. Additionally, watching the original anime series is essential, as the new anime skips directly to the final arc of the manga.

With the upcoming battles and storyline, it’s crucial for fans to be familiar with the previous storylines to appreciate the new episodes fully. Stay tuned for updates on the release date and episode count, and be ready to watch the new episodes as soon as they become available. By catching up on the previous storylines, fans can enjoy the new series to its fullest potential and be prepared for the excitement that Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 will bring.
