Sports Anime fans, here’s some exciting news for you! Blue Lock is back with a whole new film about Seishiro Nagi, and Blue Lock: Episode Nagi has been given an overseas release date, as well as a new teaser and poster!
The first season of the anime based on Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura’s original Blue Lock manga series was such a huge success that the franchise was quickly taken up for not just a new season of the TV anime, but also a new spin-off movie. As the premiere date of the new film approaches, viewers have seen more of it come together.
Blue Lock: Episode Nagi is a fresh new film about Seishiro Nagi before he entered the Blue Lock experiment as shown in the first season, and it has been confirmed to be released in cinemas across Japan on April 19th next year. While an international release date for the new movie has yet to be announced, you can see the latest teaser for Blue Lock: Episode Nagi above and the newest poster for the next film below.
Blue Lock: Episode Nagi is set to be released in Japan on April 19th, 2024, but its foreign release date has yet to be confirmed. Along with a return for Nobunaga Shimazaki as Seishiro Nagi and Yuma Uchida as Reo Mikage, as well as additional members of the returning crew and cast, the film will introduce viewers to Subaru Kimura as Ryo Nameoka, a competitor to Nagi and Reo.
