The second season of the TV anime Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki has recently unveiled its first full trailer, teaser visual, studio, and staff. Studio Project No. 9 will be animating the series, which is titled Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki 2nd STAGE and will consist of 13 episodes. Check out the trailer below!

The second season of the TV anime will see the return of the main staff from the first season, with Yanagi Shinsuke directing and Yano Akana adapting the original character designs by Fly, the light novel illustrator. Shimo Fumihiko as the series composer.
The voice cast is returning for Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki 2nd STAGE and includes:

- Ikumi Hasegawa as Manami Nanami
- Ai Kayano as Fuka Kikuchi
- Ryoko Maekawa as Hanabi Natsubayashi

- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Takahiro Mizusawa
- Nobuhiko Okamoto as Nakamura
- Shuntaro Mizuno as Takei
Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki is a Japanese light novel series written by Yuki Yaku and published by Shogakukan since May 2016. As of January 2022, 10 compilation volumes have been released, and it has been licensed in English by Yen Press. A manga adaptation was also published by Square Enix from December 2017 to February 2021, spanning 6 volumes.
The light novel was adapted into a 12-episode anime series by studio Project No. 9, with two OVAs that aired in May and June 2021. Crunchyroll is currently streaming both the first season and OVAs, and the story follows gamer Tomozaki Fumiya as he navigates the challenging real world with the help of a seasoned player.
