Chainsaw Man Has a New Look in Cover for Nikkei Entertainment

By Ashley De MesaSeptember 21, 2022

This is not a drill, Chainsaw Man is going to be featured on the November issue of Nikkei Entertainment! The main characters, Power, Aki, and Denji are given the spotlight. They are standing side by side, with Power and Denji seeming awkward. Aki is the only one who is more relaxed, with one hand on his hip.

This alone can give us a glimpse of the characters’ personalities. Power and Denji seemed like it was their first time being pictured. Aki, on the other hand, knows what needs to be done and struck a pose.

They are also in a setting of a photoshoot, which makes the cover all the more endearing.

Chainsaw Man Story

Chainsaw Man centers around Denji, a poor young man who is in a world full of terrifying monsters called Devils. He was forced to become a devil hunter to pay off his debts. Along the way, he befriended a Devil dog named Pochita who helped him with his job. However, he was murdered by a devil one day.

To save him from dying, Pochita merged with him. Thus, Denji is revived with Devil powers – the ability to transform his body parts into chainsaws. He is now able to brutally murder his enemies, and he eventually ended up working for a woman named Makima. He was drawn to Makima, although Makima only sees him as a pet.
