Chainsaw Man adds more fuel to the hype they were receiving lately by releasing a preview of Episode 1! The preview included the new look of Pochita, the Devil dog that Denji encounters. We finally get to see more of what Pochita looks like in the anime. And it was cute, despite having a literal chainsaw on its head.
Well, rest assured that we will be able to see Pochita and Denji together in October 11! Chainsaw Man is just around the corner.

The video included the short highlights of Episode 1. Denji and Pochita were first shown together. This indicates that their connection will be crucial in the anime. Furthermore, Denji’s poor background was also seen briefly. Then he became a formidable and literal chainsaw able to take on Devils, and began to work for Makima.

Chainsaw Man Story
Denji was just an ordinary young man, who wanted to earn money to survive. His world is plagued by Devils, thus he was forced to become a devil hunter by the yakuza to pay off his debts. He then met a Devil dog named Pochita, who has a chainsaw on its head.
Denji was then murdered by a Devil in a contract with the yakuza. He was only revived by Pochita, who merged with him. Thus, he now gained the ability to transform his body parts into chainsaws. He was now able to kill and murder his enemies with hastiness. He was then offered a job at the Public Safety Bureau. This is where he meets the beautiful Makima.

Chainsaw Man Anime
Chainsaw Man anime is going to be produced by MAPPA Studio, known for animating Attack on Titan and Jujutsu Kaisen.
The first season will have 12 episodes and will premiere this October 11, 2022. It will stream on Crunchyroll, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Disney+, and many more.
Chainsaw Man has been one of the most hyped anime, even prior to airing their episodes. Ever since it was announced for an anime adaptation in 2020, a lot of fans are so eager about it. It even became one of the top trends in Twitter Japan in 2021, surpassing My Hero Academia, Evangelion, and Jujutsu Kaisen. Imagine an upcoming anime series was able to top off well-established ones… Chainsaw Man will surely become one of the best anime series of the year!
