The third season of Classroom of the Elite is coming soon, and a new trailer has been released to hype up the fans. The trailer shows the main characters, including Kiyotaka Ayanokoji from Class D and Arisu Sakayanagi from Class A, who were left together at the end of the second season. The anime is produced by Studio Lerche, who also revealed a key visual of the pair. You can check out the trailer and the visual below:

The upcoming season will follow a special exam that involves all the grades. The students will have to form mixed-grade groups and achieve a minimum score to avoid expulsion. This will test their ability to cooperate with their rivals from other grades. The anime was originally scheduled to air in 2023, but various reasons delayed it.
The anime is based on the light novels by Shogo Kinugasa. The first season aired in 2017 and had 12 episodes. The second season, which was announced along with the third, had 13 episodes and topped our weekly anime ranking in the last week of Summer 2022, after Ayanokoji confronted Ryuen. The anime is available on Crunchyroll, and here is their synopsis:

What’s more, every month, the school awards students points with a cash value of 100,000 yen, and the classes employ a laissez-faire policy in which talking, sleeping, and even sabotage are permitted during class.
One month later, Ayanokoji, Horikita, and the students of Class D learn the truth of the system in place within their school…
