Crunchyroll Releases Bungo Stray Dogs Season 4 Dub

The Stray Dogs are back! On Tuesday, Crunchyroll announced that the first episode of the English dub of the fourth anime season based on Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa’s Bungo Stray Dogs manga will be released the following day. The season’s dubbed version is now available on Crunchyroll.

The dub cast includes:

  • Landon McDonald as Rampo Edogawa, Additional Voices
  • Jamieson Price as Yukichi Fukuzawa, Additional Voices
  • Aleks Le as Tokio Murakami, Male Secretary
  • David Vincent as Sakunosuke Oda, Ochi Fukuchi, Additional Voices
  • Erin Yvette as Additional Voices

On January 4, the anime premiered in Japan. Crunchyroll is broadcasting the anime live as it airs in Japan.

Director Takuya Igarashi, series script supervisor and writer Yoji Enokido, character designer and chief animation director Nobuhiro Arai, and the animation studio BONES are among the returning main cast members. Yto Uemura (Atsushi Nakajima), Mamoru Miyano (Osamu Dazai), Sumire Morohoshi (Kyka Izumi), Kensho Ono (Rynosuke Akutagawa), and Kish Taniyama (Chya Nakahara) return as well. The anime’s opening song, “True Story,” is performed by SCREEN mode, while the ending song, “Shirushi/°C,” is performed by Luck Life.

From April to June 2016, the first television anime adaptation aired, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan. The second 12-episode season of the anime aired from October to December 2016, and Crunchyroll once again streamed the series as it aired. The series was released on home video by Funimation and Crunchyroll with an English dub. The anime’s third season premiered in April 2019, and it was streamed on Crunchyroll and Funimation.

Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple, an anime film, premiered in Japan in March 2018. Crunchyroll began streaming the film in September 2018, followed by Funimation in June 2019.

The manga and novel series are being published in English by Yen Press. The manga debuted in December 2012 in Kadokawa’s Young Ace magazine and is still ongoing.
