It is that time of the year again when Demon Slayer fans get their soul food. The brand new arc of the series just announced its first-ever venue and Indian fans, it’s your time to shine!
Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures announced on Tuesday that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training-, a theatrical screening of the one-hour first episode of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc television anime and the final episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc, will be released in Indian theaters on February 23. The firms will also have a special advanced fan screening in Mumbai on February 21 for “selected anime enthusiasts.”
The firm has earlier stated that it will hold World Tour preview screenings for the anime in India as well.
The anime adaptation of The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc is set to air in spring 2024.
The television animation The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-Hen) debuted on April 9 as a one-hour special. Crunchyroll and Netflix showed the anime in India as it aired in Japan. On May 8, Crunchyroll added the Hindi dub of the anime.
The first television anime adaptation of Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga aired in April 2019.
In October 2020, the anime film The Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train made its Japanese premiere. The film premiered in India in August 2021.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc, a seven-episode arc based on the Mugen Train film, debuted in October 2021. The television anime, The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yūkaku-hen), began in December 2021 with a one-hour special. Crunchyroll has included Hindi and Indian English dubs for both seasons.
