The latest episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3 has left Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado in a perilous situation as they face off against the Upper Four demon, Hantengu. The Swordsmith Village Arc, from Koyoharu Gotoge, has showcased just how challenging of an opponent Hantengu is. Even though Tanjiro has fought powerful demons before, Hantengu has a lot of tricks up his sleeve to challenge our heroes.
In this season, Tanjiro and Nezuko are battling Hantengu’s clones, and although Tanjiro thinks he has found a weakness, it’s not that easy to exploit. The siblings are taking a lot of damage, which makes it seem like they are in serious danger.
What’s in store for Tanjiro and Nezuko?
Tanjiro and Nezuko face the challenge of battling the Hantengu clones. Tanjiro spends the first half of the fight focusing on taking down the flying clone, and eventually figures out a way to deal with it. He exploits this opening to reunite with Nezuko and Genya, who are fighting the other clones. However, the three of them are overwhelmed by the number of opponents.
Nezuko and Genya put up a good fight, but it’s clear that dealing significant damage to the Hantengu clones is not an easy task. In a surprise attack, the relaxed clone hits both Tanjiro and Nezuko with a powerful blast of wind, causing them to fall unconscious to the ground and leaving them vulnerable to further attacks.
