The battle is getting more intense after each episode of Demon Slayer season 3, and fans are literally dying to know what’s next, but like any other good anime, the storytellers at Ufotable leave fans craving for more as each episode ends with a major cliffhanger!

The last episode of Demon Slayer has left fans wondering what kind of fate Genya will have as he was left bloodied and bruised in an attempt to save Tanjiro and kill the upper-rank demon.

Genya was one of the many familiar characters brought back to the anime following a run-in with Tanjiro Kamado in Demon Slayer’s first season, and fans have finally seen what he can do in a battle now that he isn’t in the middle of it against a member of Muzan Kibutsuji’s Upper Ranks.

Season 3 has shown off some of Genya’s combat abilities, but he’s been taking a lot of damage in the struggle against Hantengu’s Emotion Demons, just like Tanjiro and Nezuko. However, in the most recent episode, Genya has received the most damage yet, as the episode concludes with Genya making a major save that leaves him bleeding and (quite literally) full of enormous holes. However, this may not be the end of our favorite transformer!

Tanjiro and Genya continue to fight against Hantengu’s Emotions in Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 6, but Tanjiro soon discovers the solution to defeating the demon. Although Tanjiro was first terrified by Genya’s demonic change, after it was evident that Genya posed no serious threat, Tanjiro was eager to assist. Tanjiro’s purity eventually catches Genya off guard, but this happens at the worst possible time as Hantengu’s Emotions run wild even more.

Tanjiro is able to awaken Genya and get him active again, just as he is on the verge of death. When the shoe is on the other foot and Tanjiro is attacked, Genya unexpectedly saves him. When Tanjiro returns to check on Genya, she is wounded and near death. Now, Genya mentioned that he has a demonic recovery capacity as long as he doesn’t lose his head, and as serious as this injury is, it may be something he recovers from.

We definitely want to see more of Tanjiro and Genya fighting alongside each other as the season progresses! What do you think of Demon Slayer so far? Share your thoughts with us!
