Demon Slayer Season 3 Swordsmith Village Arc Releases Friday

Demon Slayer fans, are you ready? The world tour of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- is coming to theaters outside Japan this March 2023!

It will screen the Episodes 10-11 of Entertainment District arc as well as the Episode 1 of the Swordsmith Village arc in 4K quality.

It will premiere in the United States and Canada on March 3, 2023; while it will arrive earlier in the United Kingdom and Ireland on March 1, 2023. Ticket selling can be purchased on this website. You may need to hurry, as tickets are getting sold out fast!

Alongside this, a red-carpet event where voice actors from Demon Slayer will be making an appearance is also included.

On February 18, 2023, Natsuki Hanae (voice actor of Tanjiro Kamado), Aimer (singer of the Entertainment District arc opening and ending theme songs), and Yuma Takahashi, the producer for Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train) will be present at the Los Angeles premiere. Tickets are now sold out for the event.

This red-carpet event is not only limited to Los Angeles. It will also occur in different countries worldwide:

  • Paris – February 25, 2023 (Yuma Takahashi)
  • Berlin – February 26, 2023 (Yuma Takahashi)
  • Mexico City – March 4, 2023 (Natsuki Hanae)
  • Seoul – March 11, 2023 (Akari Kito; the voice for Nezuko Kamado, Yuma Takahashi)
  • Taipei – March 19, 2023 (Natsuki Hanae, Kengo Kawanishi; the voice for Muichiro Tokito, Kana Hanazawa; the voice actor for Mitsuri Kanroji, and Yuma Takahashi)

It seems that there is a lot of hype for the upcoming Swordsmith Village arc of Demon Slayer! It is a popular anime franchise after all. Its upcoming events are guaranteed to be swarmed by a lot of fans.

What is Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village arc about?

Tanjiro visited a swordsmith village to inquire about the damage of his sword to its creator, Hotaru Haganezuka. The former wanted to replace it with a new one, but Upper Moon Demons started to attack. The Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokita, came to their aid. The Love Hashira, Mitsura Kanroji, also joins in with the battle. Will they emerge from this battle victorious?

Demon Slayer Manga & Anime Background

Demon Slayer is authored and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. It serialized on Weekly Shounen Jump from February 15, 2016 to May 18, 2020. It has a total of 23 volumes and 207 chapters.

Ufotable adapted the manga into an anime adaptation in April 2019, and there have been 2 seasons that aired. A movie, Demon Slayer the Movie: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train also got released last October 2020.

It gained massive popularity when it was adapted into anime, and it is the first in history to have all of its manga volumes on Oricon’s Weekly Top 10 charts in 2020.
