Tanjiro and his fellow monster hunters have faced some terrible supernatural dangers in Demon Slayer throughout the years, with season two seeing them face off against top-tier demons like as Gyutaro, Daki, and Akaza. While these battles almost killed the Demon Slayer Corps members, there are even more powerful enemies lurking in the shadows, as we’ll witness in the next third season. Now, Ufotable’s most popular anime adaptation has released a new video that teases the formidable creatures that will make their animated debut later this year.

Following the events of the Entertainment District Arc, Tanjiro and company lost two important allies: Rengoku, who died as a result of the Mugen Train plot, and Tengen Uzui, who was damaged to the point that he is considering retiring from the demon-hunting game. With the Hashira losing both the Sound and Flame Hashiras in quick succession, it appears that the anime adaptation’s main character will have to carry greater responsibility as he continues his quest to destroy Muzan and find a means to restore his sister Nezuko’s humanity.

Aniplex released a new teaser on Friday that not only shows off the villains of the past but also hints at the nasty demons of the future that Tanjiro and his fellow Demon Slayer Corps members will undoubtedly have to combat in order to eradicate the supernatural plague.

The third season of Demon Slayer will launch in April, but fans will be able to see it a little early as a theatrical run of the final two episodes of season two and the new installments will begin on March 3rd of this year.

Just a little more and we’re all going to witness the power of Muzan and the battle between the corps! Have you watched the trailer yet? Let us know what you think about Demon Slayer’s new arc!
