Have you wished our favorite little demon a happy birthday? Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is getting ready for its major comeback with Season 3 of the anime in the near future, and the franchise is celebrating Nezuko Kamado’s birthday with a special new video!
The first two seasons and feature film for the anime based on Koyoharu Gotoge’s original manga have been among the most successful new anime releases in recent years, and it’s easy to see why when you consider how much fans love all of the characters at the center of many of the series’ biggest fights and moments.
Although she doesn’t have many standard lines, Tanjiro’s sister Nezuko is a franchise regular as a demon who hasn’t completely succumbed to her base inclinations. Tanjiro began his trip in search of a means to save her, but Nezuko has contributed to some of the most memorable moments in the anime to far. This is also true of her involvement in the manga, and a special teaser showing some of those scenes has been released in honor of her birthday, which falls on December 28th in Japan.

Demon Slayer‘s anime is now preparing to return with a new season addressing the manga’s Swordsmith Village arc. The third season, which is set to premiere in April as part of the Spring 2023 program of new anime releases, will involve far larger confrontations against much greater opponents than we have seen in the anime thus far. However, this means there will be plenty of time to catch up on the series before the new episodes air.
Crunchyroll is presently streaming both seasons of the TV anime and the Mugen Train feature film. It is unknown whether they will broadcast the new season when it premieres next year, but you can use the service to quickly catch up with the events before the new arc piles on the excitement even more than before.
