Inosuke and Aoi Moments
- Episode 24
Inosuke and Aoi first encountered each other when Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Nezuko, and Inosuke arrived at the Butterfly Estate for medical treatment after a battle at Mount Natagumo. There, they trained together for a short period of time.
Moreover, During their reflex training session, when it was Inosuke’s turn to train with Aoi, he made no hesitation in pouring tea on Aoi’s face when he managed to grab the cup before her. And during their full-body training, Inosuke swiftly lifted Aoi’s legs, flipping her upside down.
- Chapter 100
After the events of the Mugen Train arc, the group returned to the Butterfly Estate to recover from their injuries. Aoi voiced her worries to Tanjiro about Inosuke being the most hurt among their group, tears streaming down her face. But Inosuke surprised them all by crawling upside down on the ceiling, declaring himself to be immortal and teasing Aoi for her worry. Aoi started to scold him and told him to be careful next time. Both started to argue loudly. Being the Inosuke we know, he tells her, “Shut up! Stop pulling on me, you shrimp!” This exemplifies how the pair is an enemies-to-lovers trope.

- Chapter 204
After peace has been restored in the Demon Slayer world, Inosuke is seen wandering around with his boar mask on and thinking about food. He stealthily entered the kitchen and saw Aoi cooking. He started to sneakily eat the food Aoi had prepared, quickly stuffing it into his mouth. With her sharp reflexes, Aoi quickly caught him and yelled, “You’re stealing food again!!” Inosuke replied, “N-no, I’m not!!” even though his mouth was full. He thought to himself that she must be strong to have noticed him so quickly. Aoi then gave Inosuke a full plate of delicious food and told him that it was just for him and to stop stealing food. Inosuke was stunned, and his cheeks turned red as Aoi walked away from him. He smiled as he ate the food Aoi had given him, making it one of the best panels for Inosuke in the series.
- Chapter 205
The final panel of the chapter features a collage of images, one of which shows Inosuke and Aoi side by side. Inosuke is holding a handful of acorns that he collected from the wild and is offering them to Aoi as if they were a gift. Aoi is smiling in response to this, clearly pleased by the gesture.
This image is a reference to the scene from the Mugen train arc, in which Inosuke presents Nezuko with some acorns and says “Come over here! Look, I’ll give you these sparkly acorns! C’mon!” This indicates that Inosuke views offering acorns as a symbol of kindness.
