Megumi Fushiguro is the Jujutsu Kaisen series’ second lead. He is a first-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High and a grade 2 jujutsu sorcerer, along with Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki. Megumi Fushiguro is Tsumiki Fushiguro’s stepbrother, and as the son of Toji Fushiguro, Megumi is also a descendant of the Zenin Family.
Because the Jujutsu Kaisen manga is still ongoing, it is uncertain as to whether or not Megumi Fushiguro dies in the series, however, he is cutting it really close every single time.
If you’ve ever heard of the joke in the Attack on Titan fandom about Reiner being Hajime Isayama’s child (because even after cutting it really really close to death, he doesn’t die), the same can be said for Megumi Fushiguro being Gege Akutami’s child, because even after being in imminent danger time and again, the kid just does NOT die.

There was even a scene in Season 1 when Megumi was fighting a very strong curse inside the cage, and instead of being at the very least, injured, Megumi Fushiguro was found sleeping outside the cave, the finger of Sukuna in his hand. If that doesn’t scream child to you, what else would?
The guy even went head-on with the series’ antagonist, Sukuna, and was left unscathed.
Megumi is a strong sorcerer, and it is undeniable that his clan has strong curses up their sleeve, and his curse is not an exception. Megumi is an extremely focused individual as well as a highly disciplined combatant. He excels at being calm in the tensest situations. Megumi is the most level-headed and smart of Satoru’s trainees in his approach to every fight. This has resulted in an expert level of comprehension of jujutsu and how to really use his own skills.
If, in the near future, Megumi were to die in the series, he would probably die fighting Yuuji Itadori, if that possibility even occurs.
