Fans of EDENS ZERO are surely looking forward to this! The anime just announced that Season 2 will premiere by April 2023 on Nippon TV. It also revealed its first teaser so fans can get hyped!
EDENS ZERO will re-air its previous episodes on Nippon TV starting from October 4, 2022 (25:59 ~ 1:59 AM). This was reported by the official website. It’s a perfect opportunity to watch a recap of the series to prepare for Season 2.
The second season was first announced last February 2022, releasing its teaser visual in August 2022. The first season aired from April 11 – October 3, 2021 amounting to 25 episodes. Netflix also streamed the anime globally last August 2021. J.C.Staff served as the animation production studio.

What is EDENS ZERO About?
EDENS ZERO is a story about a boy named Shiki who spent his life in an amusement park named Granbell Kingdom. He was surrounded by machines and has no human contact at all. Until one day, a human girl named Rebecca Bluegarden and her cat companion Happy stumbled upon Granbell Kingdom.
They were both unaware that they were the first visitors Granbell Kingdom has for a hundred years. Shiki made his way to befriend them, even though he is very socially awkward. When Granbell Kingdom became more dangerous, Shiki and his new friends, Rebecca and Happy, escaped through the Sakura Cosmos. Shiki had made it his goal to go on an adventure with his new friends in the endless cosmos. He also hoped to make more friends along the way.

EDENS ZERO is authored and illustrated by Hiro Mashima, known for his Fairy Tail manga series. He started the manga serialization for EDENS ZERO in Kodansha Comics’ Weekly Shounen Magazine in 2018. As of August 2022, there are currently 22 volumes.
The manga was also published into five languages simultaneously: English, Chinese, French, Korean, and Thai in 2018. Kodansha USA licensed this, and it has published 18 volumes as of September 2022. The digital version of the manga is also available on online platforms such as Crunchyroll Manga and Amazon Kindle.
EDENS ZERO also has a two games developed by Konami Digital Entertainment. The one being “EDENS ZERO Pocket Galaxy” that is available for mobile phones. The second one is still in development, and it is meant to be played in consoles because it is a 3D RPG game. Hiro Mashima himself also developed his own EDENS ZERO game using RPG Maker. He released it for free on PC last March 2022.
