Final Trailer Released For Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess Anime

Only a day before The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady TV anime premieres on Wednesday, January 4, Kadokawa releases a second character promotional video for the upcoming anime, this time, focusing on the character of Euphyllia Magenta, one of the main heroines of the series.

Born as a noblewoman, Euphyllia was originally betrothed to the crown prince of their kingdom until she was unjustly stripped of her title and became Anisphia’s research asssistant. Manaka Iwami, known for voicing Tohru Honda in Fruits Basket, will play as Euphyllia in the series.

Prior to its release as a light novel series, The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady begun as a web novel published on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2019. It later inspired a light novel series in 2020 under the Fantasia Bunko label. Piero Karasu wrote the story with illustrations by Yuri Kisaragi.

Yen Press, the English publisher of the novels, describe the story as follows:

Despite her supposed ineptitude with regular magic, Princess Anisphia defies the aristocracy’s expectations by developing “magicology,” a unique magical theory based on memories from her past life. One day, she witnesses the brilliant noblewoman Euphyllia unjustly stripped of her title as the kingdom’s next monarch. That’s when Anisphia concocts a plan to help Euphyllia regain her good name-which somehow involves them living together and researching magic! Little do these two ladies know, however, that their chance encounter will alter not only their own futures, but those of the kingdom…and the entire world!

Sayaka Senbongi will lead the TV anime as Anisphia von Palletia, with Manaka Iwami as Euphyllia Magenta.

Shingo Tamaki (Ahiru no Sora) is directing the anime at studio diomedéa. Wataru Watari (Parallel World Pharmacy) writes the script, while Naomi Ide (Domestic Girlfriend) handles the character designs.

The series is scheduled to premiere on January 4.
