Goblin Slayer Season 2 has released a new trailer for the anime and revealed the release window. The information dropped during GA FES 2023 on AbemaTV, which was hyped earlier this week. During the reveal, a change in the studio was also announced. LINDENFILMS will be animating the series. The release date has been scheduled for 2023, but no exact date was given. The series was originally announced back in January 2021.

The trailer begins with the text “I’m not saving the world. I’m just killing goblins.” An apt description of the series. We see the Goblin Slayer continue his epic quest to eliminate goblins in a gruesome and bloody fashion as well as the return of fan-favorite characters.
LINDENFILMS has confirmed the voice cast; including, voice actors Yuichiro Umehara (Goblin Slayer), Yui Ogura (Priestess), and Nao Toyama (High Elf Archer), who were in attendance at the live-stream.
Goblin Slayer is a mature audience fantasy series written by Jumo Kagyu and drawn by Noboru Kannatsuki. Season 1 of the anime aired in October 2018. The story follows a man known as the Goblin Slayer that is a member of a guild of adventurers. His role is to eliminate goblins, which are depicted as cruel creatures that kill humans.
The Anime is based on the Goblin Slayer light novel that was originally released in February 2016. It is currently ongoing with the most recent volume released in July 2022.
