SSSS Series Synopsis
The first installment, SSSS.Gridman, focuses on Yuuta Hibiki and Rikka Takarada. Yuuta woke up in Rikka’s room with no memories of why he was there. He was being called by a robot next room, who is Hyper Agent Gridman. Rikka cannot hear Hyper Agent Gridman, nor see the monsters ravaging outside. Yuuta then merged with Hyper Agent Gridman to fight the monsters outside, and Rikka decided to help him out – together with her classmate, Shou Utsumi.
The second installment, SSSS.Dynazenon tells the story of Yomogi Asanaka and his encounter with a strange homeless man named Gauma. Gauma claimed to deal with the kaiju, the monsters currently endangering the city. One day, when Yomogi and his classmate, Yume Miname, witnessed a kaiju in the city. Gauma summoned a giant robot named Dynazenon. Dynazenon required 4 people cooperating to unleash its full potential in order to combat the kaiju crisis.
