The second season of the TV anime adaptation of Norio Sakurai’s manga The Dangers in My Heart (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu) revealed its theme song artists on Tuesday, according to the anime’s official website. The theme songs are:
- Opening: “Boku wa…” (I Am…) by Atarayo
- Ending: “Koi Shiteru Jibun Sura Aiserunda” (I Can Even Love My Loving Self) by Kohana Lam, who also sang the first season’s ending song “Suu Sentimental”
The second season of The Dangers in My Heart will air in January on TV Asahi and its 23 affiliates, as well as on BS Asahi, as part of the NUMAnimation programming block. The cast and staff from the first season will reprise their roles. The manga’s spinoff Twi-Yaba will also get an anime adaptation.

The first season of the anime debuted on April 1 on TV Asahi and its affiliates in the “NUMAnimation” block. HIDIVE streamed the anime simultaneously with Japan.
Seven Seas Entertainment, which licensed the manga in English, describes the story as follows:
Ichikawa Kyotaro, a boy barely clinging to the bottom rung of his school’s social ladder, secretly believes he’s the tortured lead in some psychological thriller. He spends his days dreaming up ways to disrupt his classmates’ peaceful lives and pining after Anna Yamada, the class idol. But Kyotaro’s not nearly the troubled teen he pretends to be…and it turns out Anna’s a bit odd herself!
Sakurai started the manga in March 2018 in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine. It moved to Akita Shoten’s Champion Cross website in April 2018, and then to Manga Cross website in July 2018, after Champion Cross and Champion Tap! merged. The manga has nine volumes so far, with the latest one released on November 8. Seven Seas Entertainment published the seventh volume on October 3.
