The Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku anime has began its invasion as part of the wave of releases we’ll see during the Spring 2023 anime calendar, and the latest episode has taken one huge step ahead towards this by completely including Yuzuriha into the anime’s events! When the anime adaptation of Yuji Kaku’s Hell’s Paradise manga began presenting viewers with its blood-soaked concept, fans got a small glimpse at some of the other dangerous criminals who, like the main character, Gabimaru, were traveling to a mysterious island in an attempt to gain their freedom.
Gabimaru has been a major focus of this plot, but with Episode 3 showing everyone making their way across this unknown island “paradise,” we’re really getting to see the criminals interact with one another. Hell’s Paradise Episode 3 completely integrates Yuzuriha into the anime as she introduces herself to Gabimaru and begins an uncomfortable relationship despite the fact that she reveals very little about her Kunoichi history and true desires.
Check out some amusing fan reactions on Twitter:
Despite the fact that she was a fellow ninja who seemed to be aware of Gabimaru’s escapades, Yuzuriha had yet to receive a fully spoken part when she was initially introduced to the Hell’s Paradise anime. She, like the other criminals, survived the initial deadly attack to reach Paradise and is now fighting for her life. In Hell’s Paradise Episode 3, Yuzuriha approaches Gabimaru and Sagiri about forming an alliance and shares part of what she’s learned.
She desires to trade Gabimaru’s fighting ability for all she and her assigned guard, Senta, possess, and says that she conducted some heinous experiments on one of the other criminals to figure it all out. She is hesitant to play all of her cards at once, though, because it is evident that she is still concealing something from Gabimaru. She’s not telling the truth about her origins or her desire to live. But she is honest about one thing: this partnership will only survive as long as it moves her closer to her ultimate aim. When working together is no longer an option, she’ll do what has to be done.
