It appears that more Horimiya is on the way. The slice-of-life romance was presented to the globe a few years ago when its anime took over the fans. According to a fresh source, a new Horimiya manga run is on the way, and the relaunch will include many key chapters.
Horimiya will return with three new chapters in subsequent issues of Monthly G-Fantasy, according to the update. These three chapters will also be featured in Horimiya‘s 17th volume, which will be released in Japan on July 18th. The Horimiya collection will also be included in the trade, so fans will want to get their hands on it as soon as possible.
These additional chapters arrive years after the Horimiya manga ended. The story began with a manga by Hero, titled Hori-san to Miyamura-kun. This book first debuted in Gang Comics before being reworked by artist Daisuke Hagiwara and Hero in G-Fantasy Comics. Between October 2011 and March 2021, the manga was published.
The Horimiya anime, of course, was released near the end of the manga’s run. CloverWorks premiered in January 2021 and quickly became a fan favorite. Unfortunately, the whole plot was limited to a single season, but CloverWorks is currently aiming to animate all of Horimiya’s extra chapters in a new special.
After all, Horimiya has a number of omake under the Hero label. This fresh collection of chapters will be added to the already lengthy list. If you wish to catch up on Horimiya, the manga is available in the United States through Yen Press. Horimiya season one is available on Crunchyroll in both subtitled and dubbed form. For additional information about the series, please see the official synopsis below:
At school, Kyouko Hori is known for being smart, attractive, and popular. On the other hand, her classmate, the boring, gloomy Izumi Miyamura tends to get painted as a “loser fanboy.” But when a liberally pierced and tattooed (not to mention downright gorgeous) Miyamura appears unexpectedly on the doorstep of secretly plain-Jane homebody Hori, these two similarly dissimilar teenagers discover that there are multiple sides to every story…and person!
Is anyone else excited for this adorable romance manga to come back? If you’ve been reading Horimiya, this definitely is something to look forward to!
