Shoujo Ai Fans, it’s our time to rejoice once again! Hori and Miyamura’s story is now getting its continuation, and the first trailer of the new season has just been released.

Horimiya Season 2 was greatly demanded by fans when the Horimiya anime ended, and while it’s not strictly a sequel, fans have gotten the first teaser showing off more of what we can expect from the new Horimiya anime, Horimiya -piece-! Although HERO and Daisuke Hagiwara’s original Horimiya manga was translated for the first season as the anime covered some of the most important scenes, viewers remarked that there was still a lot of information from the book that never made it to screen. But that will change very soon.

The Horimiya anime will return this July as part of the Summer 2023 anime schedule, but it will take a different form than a standard “Horimiya Season 2.” Titled Horimiya -piece-, this new anime boasts that it will adapt moments from the original Horimiya manga that were never included in the first season. That implies we’ll see a lot more of the secondary characters and their long narratives that the first season couldn’t handle.

It is yet to be confirmed where viewers will be able to see Horimiya -piece-, but it will be released in July as part of the new wave of anime that will be released throughout the Summer months. The CloverWorks-produced first season’s cast and team will also return for the new Horimiya anime, although it has yet to be disclosed exactly what viewers can expect to see in the new episodes. If you want to see the Horimiya anime now that the new series will be telling more of the tale this summer, Crunchyroll has Horimiya’s 13-episode run online.

A secret life is the one thing they have in common. At school, Hori is a prim and perfect social butterfly, but the truth is she’s a brash homebody. Meanwhile, under a gloomy facade, Miyamura hides a gentle heart, along with piercings and tattoos. In a chance meeting, they both reveal a side they’ve never shown. Could this blossom into something new?

Horimiya has definitely been a fan favorite ever since it was first released in 2021, if you’re eager to know more about the anime and its future trailers, stay tuned to Anime Dork for updates!
