The official Twitter for Hunter x Hunter has just dropped great news – Chapter 401 is finally complete! That’s right, Yoshihiro Togashi emerged from his hiatus bunker and delivered the goods. Fans are rejoicing, praising Togashi for getting back on the manga train – let’s just hope it doesn’t derail again anytime soon!
In a post to his Twitter account that had fans jumping for joy on the evening of Mar. 8, Yoshihiro Togashi confirmed that Chapter 401 of Hunter x Hunter had finally been completed. He also state that his production system for making chapters is less than ideal. It’s unclear if this is due to his ongoing battles with illness or if he’s just sick of the same old routine. Either way, we’re just happy to have him back little by little – even if it means waiting a million years between chapters.
Now, if you’re anything like the rest of us Hunter x Hunter fanatics, you’re probably salivating for any info on Chapter 401’s release date and spoilers. Right?

It seems that the news of Chapter 401 being completed has got fans jumping for joy. They’re practically doing backflips at the thought of diving back into the prince succession war arc, which has been quite the wild ride so far.

When Does Hunter x Hunter Chapter 401 Come Out?
While there’s no official release date for Chapter 401 of the manga just yet, we do have some clues that can help us hazard a guess.
Yoshihiro Togashi himself recently tweeted that the chapter has been completed and submitted to Shonen Jump for the final edits and publication. But, as with all good things, there’s a catch – we don’t know when we’ll be getting our grubby little hands on it. But let’s face it, if you’re a Hunter x Hunter fan, you’re probably no stranger to waiting.
This whole waiting game is par for the course, really. The series’ return in 2022 followed a similar pattern of leaving us in the dark until the very last minute. We had to wait until October for the official announcement of the series’ return, and then another couple of weeks before the latest chapter was available in print and digital formats. But hey, we’ve waited this long, what’s another few months?
So, based on this, we can expect to see Chapter 401 hit the shelves sometime between mid May and early June. But until then, all we can do is speculate about what kind of hijinks our beloved characters will get up to in the prince succession war arc. Will they finally kick some serious butt? Or will Togashi continue to throw curveballs our way? Only time will tell. All we can do is sit tight, cross our fingers, and hope for the best.
