The official website for the anime adaptation of Aki Murakami’s manga “Sazanami Sōshi ni Shojo o Sasagu Saa, Jikkuri Ai Demashō ka” (I Give My Virginity to Soushi Sazanami. Now, Let’s Take Our Time to Love Her.) opened on Wednesday, revealing the main cast, production team, a modified title, and a March premiere date for streaming, followed by a television broadcast on April 2.

The cast members for the on-air version and the more explicit premium version are:
Yoshiki Nakajima (on-air)/Dai Kuki (premium) as Soushi Sazanami

Saho Shirasu (on-air)/Satomi Miura (premium) as Nagisa Amami

Daiki Hamano (on-air)/Tetsu Watake (premium) as Tomo Hinata, Nagisa’s childhood friend

Shūji Inozuki (on-air)/Kōta Mashiro (premium) as Shibata

The first episode of the anime is set to air on AnimeFesta in March, before becoming available to stream on YouTube and Niconico on April 2 at midnight. There will be two versions of the anime – a premium version, which will be exclusively available on AnimeFesta, and a free version that will be available on all platforms. The anime will also be broadcast on Tokyo MX and BS11 television channels on April 3 at 1:00 a.m.
The anime is being directed by Sanae Nagi, known for their work on “Everything for Demon King Evelogia,” at Studio Hōkiboshi. Eeyo Kurosaki, credited for “The Titan’s Bride” and “Overflow,” is writing the scripts. Character design is handled by Katsuyuki Sato, known for their work on “Fire in His Fingertips -My Childhood Friend is a Fireman-,” “My Stepmom’s Daughter Is My Ex,” and “Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!” The chief animation directors are Sato, Seiya Misawa, Kazuya Shiroda, Binme, and Rena Nasu. Sound direction is being overseen by Hiromi Nishiyama at Studio Mausu.
The manga follows the story of Nagisa, a shy 26-year-old office worker who sets out on a journey to overcome her introversion. During her trip, she meets a yakuza member named Sazanami and they spend one night together, leading to the start of a relationship.
The manga was first published on the Comic Cmoa website by Murakami in March 2021. Suiseisha released the first compiled book volume on February 18, 2023, with the third volume set to be released on March 18th.
