Exciting developments are underway in the latest installment of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. The series released its ninth part, The JOJOLands, earlier this year, and it continues to captivate fans. In the latest chapter, we witness the impressive creativity of Dragona’s Stand, Smooth Operators.
This unique colony-type Stand summons a group of small Stands that collaborate on projects. With Smooth Operators’ assistance, Dragona infiltrates Kishibe Rohan’s home in Hawaii. It’s intriguing to witness the versatility and resourcefulness of Stands in action.

The backstory between Dragona and Smooth Operators remains unclear, but we do witness their summoning in action. Smooth Operators is comprised of at least four robot-shaped Stands that travel on tank treads. Each Stand is numbered and equipped with flexible arms for maneuverability.
In The JOJOLands, we observe Smooth Operators assisting Dragona during a job. These Stands excel at dislodging objects and unlocking areas. They easily unlock a pin lock, but their ability to displace objects, such as numbers on a license plate, is particularly unusual.
Despite having impressive Stands at her disposal, Dragona did not anticipate Rohan’s own abilities. In the latest chapter of The JOJOLands, Jodio discovers that Rohan can also see Stands, causing their heist to fail. Fans eagerly anticipate learning more about Jodio’s Stand and the possibility of new powers for Smooth Operators.
If you’re not up-to-date on The JOJOLands, don’t worry! Official English translations of the new series are not yet available, and fans must rely on the Japanese release overseas. While Viz Media has not announced plans to translate Hirohiko Araki’s latest work, they have been responsible for releasing JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure in the United States for some time.
