Crunchyroll announced during its Crunchyroll Expo 2022 that Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the prequel of the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen will begin streaming on the platform starting September 21, 2022.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is the prequel to the Anime series with the same name. It follows the story of Yuta Okkotsu and his newly acquired cursed spirit. The cursed spirit is too powerful and uncontainable. Because of this, Yuta Okkotsu is enrolled in the infamous Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu Highschool where he meets teachers and sorcerers who will help him control his power.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will follow a different set of characters. Although it may showcase some of the characters we have already seen from the series like Maki, Gojo, and Inumaki, it will also introduce a new set of characters that are yet to be seen in Jujutsu Kaisen.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is not the only show releasing on Crunchyroll. Classic anime movies like AKIRA, Your Name, and many more will also begin streaming every Thursday starting August 11 through October.
