If you’ve been with the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom for the past weeks, you would know that Sukuna, the show’s main antagonist made Fushiguro Megumi his new vessel, and fans are not liking the way he treats Megumi. This week, Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen finally made one bold move: Yuji Itadori and his old curse, Sukuna, are in a battle to see who is stronger, and this battle may be the most epic one yet.
Jujutsu Kaisen has entered an unexpected new phase of the Culling Game arc as things continue to become more complex for Yuji Itadori, and the latest episode of the series has pushed that to an intense new level as he has begun his largest struggle yet against Sukuna.
The recent chapters of the story have made things very tough for Yuji and the others because, similar to the Shibuya Incident, Sukuna unexpectedly gained possession of Yuji’s body at an inconvenient time. Sukuna then made his actual move for Megumi Fushiguro’s body, and thus began this dreadful new venture.
Check out the fans’ reactions below:
Chapter 214 of the manga has unleashed a surprising new revelation for Sukuna: Yuji’s strength persists even though he isn’t a vessel anymore. As they continue their fight, Sukuna wonders how and why Yuji is able to maintain his agility even though he wasn’t a Jujutsu Sorcerer before he became Sukuna’s vessel. He’s startled at Yuji’s continued strength and speed despite not sharing power with Sukuna, and his amazement grows as the fight progresses.
When Yuji continues to battle Sukuna, Sukuna knows that Megumi is fighting back against him deep within his body. He’s been restricting his cursed energy production in order to keep Sukuna’s talents at bay, and this might provide Yuji the opportunity he needs to keep the fight going long enough to rescue Megumi from Sukuna’s grasp. But saying it is much simpler than doing it.
Everyone is waiting for Yuji and Megumi’s next moves as they fight against the King of Curses, anticipating what kind of tricks he has up his sleeves.
