Attention, Gojo Fans. It’s time for you to run. The war is over. Gege Akutami finally heard your plea, after almost three and a half years of imprisonment, Jujutsu Kaisen’s strongest sorcerer, Satoru Gojo is finally unsealed from the prison realm (of course, looking as handsome as ever).
Unless you have been living under a rock for the past three years, you are probably aware of the fact that Satoru Gojo was sealed inside the prison realm, and fans of this fine man have wanted nothing more but for him to return to the show, and oh boy, they were not disappointed.
Although the officially translated version of the manga has not been translated yet, spoilers of the new Jujutsu Kaisen manga chapter have been circulating the internet in the past 12 hours, and many are thrilled to wake up to the good news that the sorcerer has finally escaped what seemed like an already doomed fate.

The entire issue was revealed when Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 220 provided an update on Yuji and his all-star band of sorcerers. The group is ready to fight Sukuna now that he has taken over Megumi’s body, but that’s not all. Geto is also on their radar, and destroying the guy is impossible without Gojo.
In actuality, the conflict between Gojo and Geto (or rather, Kenjaku) has been simmering for a long time. It has been simmering since before the Shibuya Incident, and it appears that things are now coming to a head now that Gojo has been shut for more than three years. As of the publication of this essay, he has spent 1,184 days in the Prison Realm. Obviously, the sorcerer is eager to escape.
We’ll find out shortly why Jujutsu Kaisen took so long to liberate Gojo. A full crew has gathered to release him, and the current volume of the manga concludes with a plea for Gojo to come home. To stand a chance against Sukuna or Geto, Yuji’s squad will need to break out Gojo first. So, if we’re lucky, Jujutsu Kaisen readers will see the mighty sorcerer again soon.
