Jujutsu Kaisen is currently in the midst of the climactic Culling Game arc, and the newest chapter has presented a cliffhanger that has made saving Satoru Gojo from the Prison Realm even more challenging. Before entering the Culling Game, Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro had two main objectives. First, they needed to gather enough points to save Megumi’s sister, Tsumiki. Second, they had to locate the Angel Cursed Spirit and persuade them to utilize their powers to open the Prison Realm, thus freeing Gojo from his captivity.
Fortunately, they quickly succeeded in finding Hana Kurusu, who had a contract with the Angel and possessed the ability to break the seal on the Prison Realm. However, the latest chapter has placed Hana in danger of being killed by Sukuna, making the task of rescuing Gojo that much more challenging. If they fail to save Hana, their mission to free Gojo will become considerably more difficult.
As of today, Gojo has been trapped in the Prison Realm for 1,122 days. Shoutout to this Twitter account for painfully keeping track.

Is Hana Going to Die in Jujutsu Kaisen?
In the final moments of Chapter 213 in Jujutsu Kaisen, Hana desperately tries to free Megumi from Sukuna’s control. However, Sukuna uses her emotional state to lure her in, and she ends up hugging him, thinking she’s saving Megumi. But as Sukuna readies himself to strike, there’s little chance that anyone can intervene in time. If Hana dies, they lose their only hope of saving Gojo.
Even though there is still a possibility of opening the Prison Realm, losing Hana makes their mission considerably more difficult. She was not only a valuable asset in the fight against Sukuna, but also a close friend and potential replacement for Nobara. The loss of Hana is a significant setback for Megumi and the others, and brings them even further from their goal of rescuing Gojo.
