Back-to-back announcements for Kaguya-sama: Love Is War fans! On Sunday, the Kaguya-sama: Love is War anime staff released a teaser trailer and key visual for Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: First Kiss wa Owaranai (Kaguya-sama: Love is War – The First Kiss Never Ends), the anime feature based on the manga’s story arc of the same name.
The teaser and image both confirm the film’s December 17 release date. A “television episode worth of video” from the project will also be shown during the Anime NYC event on November 19 at 4:15 p.m. EST (November 20 JST), and a discussion panel from the event with main voice actress Aoi Koga and producers Yichir Kikuchi (A-1 Pictures) and Tatsuya Ishikawa (Aniplex) will be streamed globally.

After a special screening in theaters, the anime will air on Japanese television.
The arc takes place following the conclusion of the anime’s third season.
The final hour-long episode of the third season of Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai -Ultra Romantic- aired on June 24, and it was the first to announce the new anime.
The third season of the show premiered on April 9. The U.S. premiere advanced screening was held on April 2 at the Aratani Theater in Los Angeles and at the Japan Society in New York by Aniplex of America.
The first television anime adaptation of Aka Akasaka’s Kaguya-sama: Love is War manga, which aired for 12 episodes, debuted in January 2019. The series was available on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and FunimationNow thanks to Aniplex of America. The anime was also published on Blu-ray by the studio.
Meanwhile, the 48th issue of Shueisha’s Young Jump magazine, released on Thursday, revealed that Aka Akasaka’s Kaguya-sama: Love is War manga will conclude in the magazine’s next issue, due out on November 2. The series will also be featured on the cover of the magazine.
