Keiken Zumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Orega, Otsukiai Suru Hanashi is a story about a boy and a girl with completely opposite dating lives. The light novel was released in 2020. The plot centers on the relationship between Ryuto Kashima, your typical gloomy, mysterious, social outcast, and Runa Shirakawa, the popular girl at school.

They began their relationship when Ryuto was dared to ask Runa out as part of losing a betting game, and she ends up going out with him after realizing that she had nothing on her hands at the moment. They have completely different backgrounds. It’s pretty obvious since one is anti-social, and the other one is part of the popular circle.
They had nothing in common at all, even their hobbies were different. However, as they continue to hang out with each other day by day, they begin recognizing and even accepting those differences as something to bond over.
The anime has revealed that Hideaki Oba (who worked on Love of Kill, Oandalian, Dr. Ramune) is directing the anime at ENGI. Hiroko Fukuda (Taisho Otome Fairytale, Gekijoban Karakai Jozu no Takagi San) is working on the series scripts, and Yosuke Ito (Holmes of Kyoto, Hensuki, the Detective is Already Dead) is assigned to design the characters based on Magako’s original illustrations.
Nagaoka launched the light novel series under KADOKAWA’s Fantasia Bunko level in September 2020, the light novel series currently has five volumes.
More details regarding the anime adaptation of the series should be revealed soon.
