The official website for the anime adaptation of Yasuhisa Hara’s Kingdom manga has unveiled exciting details about its upcoming fifth series. This Monday, the website released the second key visual, announced the voice cast for the Kan Ki Army, and confirmed its January 6 premiere date for the anime’s fifth installment.

Titled “SIDE Kan Ki Gun,” the second key visual showcases the iconic characters and grandeur of the series, leaving fans eagerly counting down the days until the premiere.
One of the most anticipated revelations was the voice cast for the Kan Ki Army members, who play crucial roles in the unfolding saga.
The cast members announced are:
Kentaro Ito as Kan Ki/Huan Yi.

Haruka Nagamine as Koku’ou.

Kenji Nomura as Raido.

Motoki Sakuma as Ma Ron/Mo Lun.

These talented actors are poised to breathe life into their respective characters, adding depth and emotion to the epic story.

The anime’s fifth series is scheduled to air on the NHK General channel at 24:00 JST. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the continuation of the anime after the fourth series premiered in April 2022.
For those who may not be familiar with Kingdom, the series is based on Yasuhisa Hara’s historical manga, which centers around the adventures of Xin, a slave boy with a dream of becoming a great general for the state of Qin. The story follows Xin’s journey as he aids Ying Zheng, the young Qin king, in his quest to unify China. Xin strives to become a formidable commander capable of leading an army capable of defeating the Seven Warring States.
The manga inspired a TV anime adaptation, which premiered in 2012.
