In June 2022, the manga resumed with its third and final installment in the 29th issue of Weekly Young Magazine. The final arc picks up seven years after the second part of the story. The manga went on hiatus after the second part ended in October 2021.
The manga follows a salaryman with a dependable wife and a university-aged daughter who can be a little rebellious at times but lives a happy life in his own way. Until one day he discovers his daughter has been beaten, at which point he embarks on a perilous journey to protect his family.
The manga will be adapted into a television anime series, which will debut in April.
The I’m Standing on a Million Lives manga by Yamakawa and Akinari Nao inspired a television anime adaptation that debuted in October 2020. The second season of the anime premiered in July 2021. The manga is being published in English by Kodansha US.
Yuma Ando’s Psychometrer and Psychometrer Eiji mangas were illustrated by Asaki, as was the IWGP: Denshi no Hoshi manga for the Ikebukuro West Gate Park franchise.
