WHAT IS THE STORY OF KUBO WON’T LET ME BE INVISIBLE?
Viz Media describes the story as:
First year high schooler Junta Shiraishi is a mob character who goes unnoticed even when he’s standing right next to you. But his classmate, “heroine-level beauty” Kubo, always notices him and is there to tease him. Anyone can become special to someone, but it might be a little too early to call these feelings “love.” Perhaps this story is still two-steps from being a romantic comedy–let’s call it a sweet comedy where a background character becomes visible!
Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible started as a manga series written and illustrated by Nene Yukimori. Since October 2019, it has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump, with chapters collected in eleven tankōbon volumes as of December 2022. The series is available in both English and Spanish through Shueisha’s Manga Plus service and Viz Media’s Shonen Jump website. The series is licensed for print publication in North America by Viz Media.
