Lookism Synopsis
Park Hyung-suk has always been perceived as ugly by his classmates, because he is short and overweight. Hence, he experiences severe bullying and discrimination when he is in school. In particular, Lee Tae-sung is his biggest bully. This is why he has to transfer to a new school, Jae Won High School in Seoul. It is said to have a liberal school system with carefree students.
Days before his transfer, he woke up and discovered something shocking. He now has a different body! He has a handsome face and perfectly toned body. He also found out that his original chubby body is still there, and he switches to that body once he falls asleep. He returns to the perfect body again if he sleeps in his chubby form.
In this way, he is able to experience different treatments in his bodies. He is respected in his handsome appearance, while he is bullied in his ‘ugly’ appearance.
