Netflix is adding something new to its anime category in 2023! The original sci-fi anime, Make My Day, will be streaming on Netflix worldwide on February 2, 2023. So that means it’s less than a month away! To add to the excitement, a new visual is also released.
The anime is produced by 5 Inc. while Makoto Honda served as the director. Yasuo Ootagaki is the original creator of the story, who will work as a writer alongside Yumiko Yoshizawa. Kensuke Ushio is in charge of the music composition. Shouji Kawamori and Kiyotaka Oshiyama are credited as mechanical designers.
Online sources differ on whether or not Make My Day is a film or a series as there are no official announcements from Netflix. Initially, Netflix labeled the anime as a ‘film’ and it was stated to have changed into a series. It is unclear why it became a series instead.
