Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari Synopsis
A tsukumogami is when spirits cross over to the human world and they possess an object. They then would have a human form. Most of them are peaceful, while some are not. The Saenome clan keeps them in check. They would seal the tsukumogami so that the latter can return to the spirit world peacefully.
Hyouma Kunato is a member of the clan, but his methods in confroting the tsukumogami are not peaceful. This is due to the trauma he had experienced with a malevolent tsukumogami before. He was then not deemed to be a proper clan leader in the future, so his grandfather Zouhei, had to do something. He sent Hyouma to live with Botan Nagatsuki, whose family consisted of six tsukumogami.
Will Hyouma be able to overcome his grudge against the tsukumogami and work together with Botan’s family? Will he able to find that particular tsukumogami that brought pain in his life?
