On the 30th of August 2022, Shuseisha launched “MANGA Plus Creators by SHUEISHA” a platform where all artists around the world can freely upload their work, with no hassle. This site gives creators immediate access to various audiences around the world, including Japan.
MANGA Plus is a user-submitted manga app and web service for global audiences. Creators can submit their manga from anywhere around the world and it will be viewable via the MANGA Plus Creators by SHUEISHA service.
Similar to other Manga service providers, MANGA Plus will hold monthly manga awards which will be judged by the Shonen Jump+ editorial department. The winners of the awards will have a chance to publish their works on Shonen Jump+ via Japanese translation and will win up to 1 Million Yen in Cash Prize.
Shonen Jump+ is one of the most widely-recognized manga providers around the world. The app launched in September 14, and it is a digital publication that offers manga to English users free of charge.
Shounen Jump+ serializes many of your favorite mangas! Some of these include Spy x Family, One Piece, No. 8, Summertime Rendering, Dr. Stone, and many more! In addition, the service provider also began serializing the second part of Chainsaw Man last July 13.
Shueisha first debuted the MANGA Plus Service worldwide last January 2019. This platform paves the way for the company’s direct service globally. Currently, MANGA Plus has 6 Million monthly active users, and all activity of the site is foreseen by Shounen Jump’s Editorial department.
As of August 2021, MANGA Plus has removed its region restriction for all languages. Readers can now select their language of choice from the 6 currently available languages including English, Spanish, Thai, Brazilian Portuguese, Indonesian, and Russian.
