AnimeJapan‘s official Twitter account revealed a list of nominees for their annual “Manga We Want to See Animated Ranking” poll. Some notable new ones include Akane-banashi, Blue Box, Choujin X, Dandadam, Sakamoto Days, MarriageToxin, and Gachikata. Surprisingly some Korean manhwas are also included in the list including Wind Breaker, Viral Hit, and Who Made Me a Princess.
The “Manga We Want to See Animated Ranking” list has 92 manga and manhwa. Only works without an anime adaptation that had a volume sold from January 1, 2022, or that was serialized during this time (aside from one-shots), are considered for the poll.
The poll will be available until February 3, 2023, and the results will be public on March 25-26, 2023. The survey is in its sixth year.
