Warner Bros. Japan is preparing fans for the official return of Mob Psycho 100 this October! The entertainment studio released on Wednesday, Sept 21, a character promotional video for the anime’s third season. The trailer highlights the main lead Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama and previews different clips of him taken from previous seasons.

The promotional video only lasts for 42 seconds. But it did a great job summarizing Mob’s personality, aspirations, and growth throughout the series. It also contained clips of fight scenes and briefly previewed other characters, such as Tsubomi Takane, Arataka Reigen, and members of the Body Improvement Club.



The anime is scheduled to premiere on October 5. It will be available on Tokyo MX and BS Fuji. Cartoon Network Japan will also stream the anime on October 7.
The original Japanese cast are set to return for the third season. Setsuo Ito will continue voicing Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama. Likewise, Takahiro Sakurai, Akio Ohtsuka, Miyu Irino, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will still be playing Arataka Reigen, Ekubo, Ritsu Kageyama, and Teruki Hanazawa, respectively.
However, English viewers are bound to welcome new members to the anime’s dub cast. Earlier this week, Crunchyroll confirmed it is recasting some characters in the anime’s third season. Kyle McCarley, the English voice actor for Shigeo Kageyama revealed he will not be returning for the upcoming season due to union disagreements between him and the management.

Mob Psycho 100 anime first came to the small screen in 2016. It is based on a manga series written by One Punch Man creator ONE. The second season of the anime was eventually released in 2019.
Yuzuru Tachikawa will be serving as the executive director of the anime’s third season, with Takahiro Hasui as the director. Scripts are to be handled by Hiroshi Seko, while character designs are by Yoshimichi Kameda
