Get ready to have some R&R with the release of Mr. Villain’s Day Off (Kyūjitsu no Warumono-san) first promotional video. The video unveils more cast and staff, along with the January 2024 premiere. It will air on the TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, and BS Nippon TV channels. The official website also revealed the anime’s theme song artists. The opening theme song is performed by singer Ivudot and the ending theme is by GLASGOW.

The global Manga UP! website by Square Enix is releasing the manga in English and providing a description of the series:
An Evil Organization from another planet is trying to take over Earth. An extraterrestrial from that organization named the “General” tirelessly fights against Earth’s defenders every single day in a battle of life and death!
However, today is his day off.
In 2008, Morikawa debuted the manga on the Gangan pixiv website, and on April 21, Square Enix published the fifth compiled book volume.
