The final few episodes of Demon Slayer Season 3 will premiere this Spring, and the newest episode of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime has delivered the Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito a big win!
Demon Slayer Season 3 has been working through the Swordsmith Village Arc from Koyoharu Gotoge’s original manga series, with the most recent episodes focusing on Muichiro as he deals with Gyokko’s watery trap. However, after retrieving his previously lost memories via the attempt, Muichiro is stronger than ever before moving into the current episode.
Muichiro’s war against Gyokko began in full in the latest episode of Demon Slayer Season 3, and he’s more stronger than before as he was able to unlock a Demon Slayer mark, much as Tanjiro had in the past. Not only is this the first time Hashira has done so in the anime, but it’s also a major move in Demon Slayer’s newest episode, as Muichiro also officially ended his fight against Gyokko in a very short period of time owing to a complete show of his Mist Breathing powers.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 9 officially began the conflict between Muichiro and Gyokko, and Muichiro does not take Gyokko seriously. Gyokko takes things to the next level by showing his true form, which he had been keeping in his pots, but Muichiro seems unconcerned. He even attacked the battle in the same manner, channeling his freshly resurrected rage to delve deep within himself and fight hard for the first time in the third season.
With the combat finally starting and both of them taking things seriously for the first time, spectators got to glimpse Muichiro’s Mist Breathing’s true powers. With a last technique that blanketed the area in mist and Gyokko unable to track each of Muichiro’s actions, the fight concludes when Muichiro rapidly beheads Gyokko before he even realizes his head has been severed.
It was a strong finish for Muichiro, and a fight he will probably never forget because it was the fight wherein the mist in his mind finally cleared, and he is now the strongest he’ll ever be!
