Netflix started streaming the fifth season of the new Bakugan anime, Bakugan Legends, on Wednesday. The series consists of 13 episodes, each lasting 22 minutes, and is available with English dubbing.

In October 2018, Spin Master, a Canadian toy and media company, collaborated with TMS
Entertainment and Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana subsidiary to relaunch the Bakugan franchise. The relaunch comprised a new toy line, an anime series called Bakugan Battle Planet, and additional short-form content that was made available online.
The first season of Bakugan Battle Planet aired in December 2018 on Cartoon Network in the United States and Teletoon in Canada. In Japan, the anime premiered on TV Tokyo and its affiliates in April 2019, and the season consisted of 100 11-minute episodes.
The second season, Bakugan: Armored Alliance, premiered on Teletoon in February 2020 and on Cartoon Network in March 2020. In Japan, the series was released online in April 2020, and it had a total of 104 11-minute episodes. The show was added to Netflix in March 2021.
The third season of Bakugan Battle Planet, Bakugan: Geogan Rising, premiered on Teletoon in January 2021, with 52 11-minute episodes. The series premiered in Japan in April 2021, and Netflix added the show the same month. The second part of the series began streaming on Netflix in September 2021.
The fourth season of the series, Bakugan: Evolutions, aired in Japan in April 2022 and in Canada in February 2022. The season featured 26 22-minute episodes.
The Bakugan franchise’s gameplay involves a combination of metal cards and marble-like magnetic toys that transform into figures during gameplay. The franchise has been a popular bestseller in North America.
